בעותק 1 השער פגום. Valmadonna Trust 5021 מהדורת פקסימיליה יצאה ע"י דניאל אברמס = 146.1 ג"ש: טופס עם שער נמצא אצלי מכורך עם שערי ציון, מקור חיים, מגדול דוד וכו' מספריית הרבי מסאדיגורה. שטיינשניידר, CB לא ציין את העובדה שספר זה הוצא לאור ע"י נוצרי (ועל כן אין בו הסכמה) לפי עדותו של III, WOLF, 796 - שלא השגיחו בה - הוא יעקב ברטולינוס עותק 1 מאוסף מהלמן. עותק 4 במיקרופילם (פוזיטיב ונגטיב): 10235 FI. עותק ולמדונה הוא עותק מסורג, בו נכתבו הערות רבות בדפים החלקים, כמו כן סומנו כל חמש שורות בספר. כפי הנראה עותק זה היה ברשותו של החוקר ישראל וינשטוק. ראה ספרו: במעגלי הנגלה והנסתר -- ירושלים : מוסד הרב קוק, תש"ל 1969. עמודים 51-76. חידת הנוסח של ספר הבהיר ופתרונה.
