About the Program

The National Library of Israel (NLI) is delighted to announce the The Lynda and Stewart Resnick Fellowship Program at the National Library of Israel. In 2023, the new National Library of Israel campus will open in Jerusalem. The Lynda and Stewart Resnick Fellowship, which will launch in the new NLI building, will be awarded to two (2) senior international scholars who wish to engage with one or more of the Library's core collections: IsraelJudaicaIslam and the Middle EastHumanities, and/or Israeli and Jewish Music. The Lynda and Stewart Resnick Fellowship program is designed to enable senior international scholars to conduct on-site research at the National Library of Israel for the purpose of their scholarly work.

The National Library is now accepting fellowship applications for the Lynda and Stewart Resnick Fellowship Program’s inaugural cohort that will take place in the Spring/Summer semester of 2023-2024.

The application deadline for submissions is July 10, 2023. Applicants will be notified of the committee’s decision during September 2023.
