Chs. 1-5 (pp. 19-67) describe the rise of Nazism and its virulent antisemitic policies up to 1938. Chs. 6-16 (pp. 66-279) cover the period from the "Kristallnacht" pogrom to the Wannsee Conference. Chs. 17-41 (pp. 280-810) relate the implementation of the destruction of European Jewry. Pp. 829-959 contain a highly detailed listing of notes and sources and the index.
